Pressure cook soaked channa with turmeric & salt. < 5 whistle & cook in slow flame for 20 mins>
Mixie – Make a paste of 1/2 tomato, 2 small onions, ginger, garlic – 2 pod
Heat Oil, onions, coriander leaf, curry patta, cut small pieces of dried coconut (copra) – once onions is brown, add mustard seed and let it sputter. Add the mixie paste & cook it untill the raw smell goes off. Add garam masala. Add pressure cooked channa and adjust gravy & masala as required. Let it boil.
